🏆 THE WEEKEND OF THE SHOOTERS
WARDOGS and Modern Warfare 4 closed out the weekend as Steam's two best-selling games. Call of Duty at #1, as expected — but seeing a new studio with no sequel behind it fighting elbow to elbow for #2 is the part that surprises.
The ranking
#1 Modern Warfare 4 — pre-order beta, active through August 25.
#2 WARDOGS — closed its beta with 105,774 concurrent players, real Steam data. For a studio (Bulkhead) with no launch of this scale behind it, going head to head with Call of Duty on the sales chart is a genuine signal that the interest wasn't just social media noise.
