This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.
We use Your Personal data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
Definitions
Account: means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.
Application: refers to Cliggs, the software program provided by the Company.
Clip: refers to any video content You upload to, or generate through, the Service, including gameplay recordings and clips submitted as entries to an Event.
Company: (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Cliggs SPA, Chile.
Cookies: are small files that are placed on Your computer, mobile device or any other device by a website, containing the details of Your browsing history on that website among its many uses.
Country: refers to Chile.
Device: means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.
Event: refers to any event, challenge or similar promotion run by Cliggs through the Clips page, as described in our Terms and Conditions.
Personal Data: is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
Service: refers to the Mobile Application or the Website or both.
Service Provider: means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.
Third-party Social Media Service: refers to any website or any social network website through which a User can log in or create an account to use the Service.
Usage Data: refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).
Website: refers to Cliggs.tv, accessible from www.cliggs.tv
You: means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
PayPal: refers to PayPal Holdings, Inc. and its affiliates, the third-party payment processor used by Cliggs to handle subscription billing and financial transactions.
Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
Types of Data Collected
Personal Data
While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:
- Email address
- First name and last name
- Country
- Usage Data
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
Content You Upload
When You upload or generate a Clip, We collect and store the video file itself together with its technical metadata, including duration, file size, format and upload timestamp.
Clips may contain personal data. A Clip may include Your voice, Your image, Your on-screen identity or gamertag, other people's voices or images, or identifiable features of Your surroundings. You are responsible for ensuring that You have the right to share the content of Your Clip and that it does not include the personal data of others without their consent.
Clips You choose to publish are visible to other users of the Service and, where You have made them public, to anyone who accesses the Service. As set out in our Terms and Conditions, Cliggs may also publish Clips on Cliggs' own social media accounts to promote the platform and its community.
Retention: gameplay recordings and associated Clips are automatically deleted after 90 days, as described in our Terms and Conditions.
Events, Challenges and Contest Data
When You take part in an Event, We process additional data in order to run and administer that Event.
Participation and engagement data
- Which Event(s) You have entered, Your submission and its status
- Likes, comments, views and shares recorded on Your Clip and on Clips You interact with
- Reports You submit about other users' content, and reports submitted about Yours
Eligibility verification data
Where an Event requires You to follow Cliggs' accounts on third-party platforms (such as Instagram or YouTube) in order to be eligible, We may record Your username or handle on that platform and Your follow status, for the sole purpose of verifying eligibility. This verification may be carried out manually by Cliggs administrators. We do not obtain access to Your account on those platforms and We do not collect any other information from them.
Prize administration
If You win an Event, We use the email address registered to Your Account to contact You about Your prize. We keep a record of Event winners and prize delivery status.
Why we process this data: to operate the Clips and Events features; to determine Event winners; to verify eligibility; to detect and prevent fraud or artificial manipulation of engagement metrics; to contact winners and deliver prizes; to publish Event results as required of us under Chilean consumer protection law; and to enforce our Terms and the applicable Event Rules.
Publication of results: the outcome of an Event, including the winning entry and the username of the winner, will be published on the Service and on Cliggs' official social media accounts. We do not publish winners' email addresses or contact details.
Retention: engagement data associated with an Event is kept for as long as is reasonably necessary to resolve any dispute about that Event's outcome, and in any case no longer than 12 months after the Event closes, unless a dispute or a legal obligation requires us to keep it for longer. Records of prize winners and prize delivery are kept for 6 years in line with our accounting obligations.
Users Under 18
The Service is not available to anyone under the age of 13. If You are between 13 and 17 years old, You may use the Service, but We ask You to read this Policy together with a parent or guardian.
We take particular care with the personal data of children and adolescents. Because Clips are video recordings that may contain a young person's voice or image, We encourage minors and their parents or guardians to consider carefully what a Clip reveals before it is uploaded or published.
If You are a parent or guardian and You believe that a minor in Your care has provided Us with personal data, or has uploaded a Clip containing their personal data, please contact us at contact@cliggs.tv and We will act on Your request.
Payment and Billing Data
When you purchase a subscription or any paid feature through Cliggs, payments are processed exclusively by PayPal. Cliggs does not directly collect, store, or process your credit card numbers, bank account details, or any other sensitive payment credentials. The following information is handled in connection with payments:
- Subscription tier and plan selected
- PayPal transaction identifiers and payment status
- Billing dates and renewal history
- Currency and amount of each transaction
PayPal: PayPal acts as an independent data controller for payment processing. When you make a payment, you are subject to PayPal's Privacy Policy (available at paypal.com/privacy). We encourage you to review it. Cliggs receives only the confirmation and metadata necessary to activate and manage your subscription.
How we use it: We use payment data solely to: (a) activate and manage your subscription; (b) process refunds where applicable; (c) detect and prevent fraud or abuse; and (d) comply with our legal and accounting obligations under Chilean law.
Retention: We retain billing records (transaction IDs, amounts, dates, subscription status) for a minimum of 6 years from the date of the transaction, as required by Chilean tax and accounting regulations. This data is stored securely and is not used for any purpose other than those listed above.
Third-Party Service Providers
We share personal data with third-party service providers only to the extent necessary to provide and improve the Service. These providers are contractually obligated to keep your data secure and may not use it for their own purposes. Key third-party processors include:
PayPal — payment processing and subscription billing (paypal.com)
Linode / Akamai — cloud infrastructure and video storage
Discord, Google, Facebook, Apple, Instagram, Twitch, TikTok, Kick — OAuth authentication (optional, only if you choose to link these accounts)
Twitch and Kick chat APIs — used to display your combined live chat in the Control Center; messages are read in real time and are not stored beyond your session
Cliggs Agent — our desktop app connects to your local OBS Studio over a local WebSocket to relay scene, source, and overlay control commands; it does not transmit your stream video or audio to Cliggs
International Transfers of Data
Cliggs is based in Chile, but some of our service providers — including our cloud infrastructure and video storage provider and our payment processor — store or process data on servers located outside Chile. This means Your personal data, including Clips You upload, may be transferred to and stored in other countries.
Where We transfer personal data outside Chile, We take steps to ensure it remains protected to the standard required by Chilean law, including through contractual safeguards with the providers concerned.
Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. With your consent, we also use analytics cookies to understand how users interact with the Service, and advertising cookies (see Advertising below) to serve and measure ads. You can control cookie preferences at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the footer, or through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display ads on the Service. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. This only happens if you've consented to the "Advertising" cookie category.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting google.com/settings/adsor, for participating third-party vendors more broadly, via optout.aboutads.info.
Your Rights
Depending on your country of residence, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
Erasure — request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements
Portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
Objection — object to certain types of processing, including direct marketing
Note on Event data: where an Event has already closed, We may be unable to erase engagement data (such as the recorded view and like counts on a submitted Clip) if doing so would alter the recorded outcome of that Event or prevent us from resolving a dispute about it. We will explain this to You if it applies to a request You make.

Security of Your Personal Data
The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent version at the top of this page, and where changes are significant We will notify You through the Service.
