🚨 GTA VI BREAKS THE REVEAL RULES
For the first time ever, a video game premiered new footage through an exclusive deal with a streaming platform instead of YouTube. "Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look" streamed directly on Netflix, captured entirely in-engine on PS5.
Why choosing Netflix changes the game
Rockstar could have dropped this footage the way it always does. Instead, it premiered on a platform with hundreds of millions of subscribers who would never actively go looking for a game trailer. That's a distribution play, not just a marketing one — it puts GTA VI in front of audiences who wouldn't normally cross paths with this kind of content at all.
Latin America screening times
The Netflix exclusive premiered at different times depending on the region:
- Mexico — 1:00 PM
- Peru/Colombia — 2:00 PM
- Chile — 3:00 PM
- Argentina/Brazil — 4:00 PM
After the Netflix exclusive window, the footage also became available on YouTube and gtavi.com at 10:00 PM (Arg/Br), for anyone who missed it on Netflix.
The date everyone's waiting for
GTA VI arrives on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. With this extended look, Rockstar made it clear the launch is going to be treated as a cultural event, not just another game release.
