🏆 FULL SCHEDULE: REDSEC OPEN SERIES AND ELITE SERIES
After confirming competitive play's return in early September, Battlefield and EA published the complete Season 5 schedule for REDSEC: exact dates, regions, lobby format, and the final Elite Series prize pool.
Cash Cups: already underway
Season 4 Cash Cups kick off September 19 and split $150,000 USD in weekly prizing evenly across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas through October 10.
Open Series: the path to the Elite Series
The Open Series runs October 24 through November 21, operated through Battlefy. Registration opens in October.
- Format: up to 384 teams per region per event, competing in 24-team lobbies until only the strongest squads remain.
- Events: October 24 and 25, October 31 through November 1, and November 7 and 8.
- Final: November 21, with a 24-team field per region.
- Elite Series qualification slots: 15 in the Americas, 15 in EMEA, 24 in APAC.
Elite Series: $1,338,000 USD on the line
The Elite Series runs December 4 through January 16, with 48 teams per region split into four groups of 12. This season focuses entirely on Battle Royale, dropping the Gauntlet mode.
The total prize pool is $1,338,000 USD, with $446,000 USD per region. Three regional champions will be crowned (APAC, EMEA, Americas), not one global winner.
The Americas final, in your time zone
The Americas Season Finals broadcast is January 16. Here's how that lands locally:
| Country | Time |
|---|---|
| Mexico | 5:00 PM |
| Peru, Colombia | 6:00 PM |
| Chile, Argentina, Brazil | 8:00 PM |
What's next
With the full schedule locked in, the question isn't whether REDSEC's competitive scene is back, it's which teams are fighting for an Elite Series slot starting in October.
